Located to the west of Highway 50, this area is popular for accessing Kirkwood and Sierra at Tahoe ski areas.  Although the central area of Meyers is denser residential, along the outside of the subdivision boarders the golf course and open space and many homes offer good mountain views.  Home prices range from $$150,000-$460,000, with the average around $287,500.
